Renovation of Mrzlek water collector

We participate in the realisation of the important project "Mrzlek source water protection and provision of the population with drinking water of Trnovo - Banjšice plain, Goriška Brda and Vipava valley".

The project connects the Municipality of Nova Gorica, the Municipality of Brda and the Municipality of Ajdovščina and is co-financed with irreversible resources from the EU Cohesion Fund. The estimated total value of the group of projects is 37.3 million euros. The Cohesion Fund will contribute 13.6 milijon euros, while the remaining 23.7 milijon euros will be derived from the national and municipal budgets. The project expected to be realised by March 2012 - this entails the construction of the treatment plant for drinking water Hubelj, the modernisation of the water plant and treatment plant for drinking water Mrzlek, renovation and new construction of 75 kilometres of pipelines, as well as 11,5 kilometres of the sewage system.

We have currently concluded one of the first projects - the water collector Mrzlek.

The project comprised the design and automation system startup of the water collector. We used Siemens S7 controllers and advanced visualisation HMI at the level of touch pads and central control computer.
